Mardi Gras in Houma / Terrebonne is  great alternative to the over crowded Carnival parades in New Orleans. It’s family friendly, wholesome, and festive!   Get closer to the action!

Houma is a small booming oil community seeped in Cajun culture. It features the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum, Folkife Culture Center, Southdown Plantation, Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, with a downtown district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
