in 1981 Maurice
Mouton, CLU, left the Prudential Insurance
Company of America, where he served as Sales Manager,
to establish Insure Mart / Mouton Insurance Services,
an Independent Agency. Maurice has been licensed
and working within the industry for over 50 years.
In 1987 Insure Mart aquired the 3500 square foot
building where the main Houma / Gray office now
resides. His wife Velma, Founder of The GreenHouse
Garden Center, retired from Greenhouse in the
mid 1990's and joined Maurice in management of
the insurance business.
The company is fully automated and most business
is now conducted online. Customers choose to quote
online, or by phone. Most customers may also
make payments, report claims, and update their
policies online via our Customer
Service page.
